Experiences from BASS 2011

BASS is a place where not only do you meet new people, but you grow spiritually. Young people get together and with guidance, have the freedom to question and pursue their faith, in a safe, exciting environment. The friendships here are everlasting and the questions asked are impacting.
What an amazing place to spend two weeks of my life. I feel truly blessed.

This BASS for me was the highlight of coming to BASS for all these years. I finally got a person to come here who is new to it all, but interested! Like a natural show of a spiritual sign that the Church is growing! Secondly for me personally it was great overview of all I've been taught here and my life so far that way connected to a new Church. Like the Gala party night - Harry Potter theme.
For me all this year’s Purley Chase was like a Hogwarts to Harry Potter – so magical a place in a spiritual scene. And seeing this year it all as a real set of action (decorations, wand making...) was the triumph of my heart. Thanks to all the students for putting so much effort making it real and for their free will to obey the rules and try to be best of themselves for the sake of others. A great bow to staff and teachers for putting it all together, for their hard work, and all the effort they put in their work. It is so much appreciated - though we can't always show it :) With best of my heart and good intentions

I have been to BASS five times so far and I keep going back because, honestly, I can't compare the experience to anything else. The amazing things I learn and the amazing people I meet make it truly an unforgettable experience every year.

BASS was a great experience – for relative newcomers and the well-versed alike. It is a place where we collect important ideas, are able to question them, and really think about what we value. It also is a great forum for cultural exchange - I gained a lot from the new people and hearing about experiences vastly different from mine.
